Dr Charlotte Badescu

General Practitioner

Dr Charlotte Badescu is a UK-trained General Practitioner (GP) who is based in the North West of England. She graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2013 and completed her post-graduate junior doctor and GP specialty training in Manchester.

She works as an NHS GP in the North West of England. She also examines for the University of Manchester Medical School, is a trained Clinical Supervisor for medical students and junior doctors and is a coach/mentor for GP trainees.

Her special interests include dermatology and women’s health, but what she most enjoys about being a GP is being able to provide holistic care to her patients through their lives, and getting to know the whole family, from newborn to elderly. She is a strong believer in the benefit of lifestyle factors (exercise, nutrition, stress-reduction, sleep) contributing to physical and mental health and wellbeing.

In her personal life, she enjoys travelling, learning languages, dancing and the outdoors. She also undertakes charity work and fundraising for Target Ovarian Cancer and volunteers as the Liverpool Network Leader for Shine UK, for people aged 20 to 50 with a cancer diagnosis.
